Dr. Shred absent: family stuff.
Hooked up and listened to some really cool CD's that the Donstro
brought. Included was the Sons of Champlin - boy was that ever cool! Jim
loved their stuff when he first heard it . . . in 1967!!! Also, Linda
Rondstat, "You're No Good". We like this one and would like to cover it
with Bobby (Dr. Shred) and Bill (Bubba) covering the vocals (just a thought).
Donstro proceeded to get a killer take for "Hang 'em High".
Wrapped with a heavy review of the Cover CD project tune list. Jim has
this list in his PalmV now. His plan is to install "hotSync" ("Finally!!!
Crap, I 've been using this nifty gadget for about 4 months now") this
weekend and email this list to all X-men.
Donstro brought a CD released by a pal of his who lives in
Hawaii. More about this later, He mentions us (the X_Men) specifically
in his web page! We're famous! without ever touring!! Jim: ". . . Pop*
oops, I think my head just exploded".
