Shred warmed up on the steel string accoustic with "Easy Now" from the first Eric Clapton solo album, "From The Beginning" Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and "Malibu" by Courtney Love and her band Hole
Played and recorded "Claudette", "No Matter What", and "Apache" with Shred on the accoustic. The takes sounded fine (again the amazing equipement) but Don's guitar sounded a little tinny because he was going direct.
Discussed the reasons for the seeming difference in the sound of previously recorded takes: monitor placement, new mixer firmware, different mixer settings, closed curtains, etc.
